Camp in action

Camps can run from six to forty hours and are customized for individual needs and projects.


FRESHI FILMMAKINGOur Filmmaking program is a hands-on, immersive introduction to digital filmmaking. Students work in small groups to make a film and each student will experience all aspects of production. Under the guidance of professional filmmakers, students will pitch, plan, shoot, edit, screen, score and even copyright their movies.

FRESHI GAME DESIGN
This is a program that allows kids to develop, design, debug and distribute their own 2D games. Using special software, students create their game without having to learn actual programming. They can also put their own music, video, animations and photos into their games with a simple click. In the early stage of the program, students work together with their instructor to develop a game as a group. As they progress, they will be able to work independently on their own games Don’t just play – play your own game!

FRESHI STOP MOTION ANIMATION CAMP
Freshi Stop-Motion Animation Camp is a hands-on, immersive experience that gives kids a chance to work on a film crew and create an animated film. With the guidance of professional filmmakers who have the passion and training to work with children, young students decide how they will create their characters (construction paper cut outs, Lego Figures, Action Figures, etc.) to imagine, plan, shoot and edited their own films.

MOVIN' &  GROOVIN':  ANIMATION FOR KIDS 5-7
An animation class designed for little ones. Using action figures and lego, kids will learn how to make a character come to life and move. Together they will create and shoot a short film with lots of action and plenty of giggles.

FRESHI BOOT CAMP
In eight, crazy, fun-packed hours, kids work in small groups to make a short film. Later that day, they all share their work in a film festival. This program may be done in one block of time or over several days. Great for large groups.
